Robson and Alaiane continue to be a great encouragement to me in the work. Please continue to pray for their encouragement as well, as they have faced some situations that could easily discourage:
1. Their son Rodrigo’s schooling. The local school is not of the best quality (to put it VERY politely) in the scholastic area, as well as morality and discipline (does the word “chaos” mean anything?) The alternatives to this are either SUPER expensive (home-schooling or sending him to a boarding school, which at the moment doesn’t exist for our national missionaries) and their support is not the best. They are looking into teaching him at home and testing him periodically at a Christian school in Cruzeiro do Sul, but the law is very strict about such things, so they have to study this option very carefully.
2. Language learning is also not easy for them. The Katukina language is extremely difficult to learn, and living away from the people makes it ten times more difficult.
Pray also for Robson as he leads the teaching in the local church, and Alaiane as she teaches the kids in the Sunday school.
